What Personal Information is collected by us?

We collect information which is volunteered by you. Sometimes this information is necessary to operate certain aspects of our website (e.g. where you have subscribed to be a registered user, we would require your email address). Other information may be requested to improve the Site and/or the services we offer from the Site. The information may be requested at various stages of your visiting the Site, for example, use of forums and message boards or registration as a member. In all cases, the type of information requested will be clear to you.

Account details: We collect your chosen username and password along with your email address as a point of contact for your account.

Financial details: If you decide to make a payment for any of our products and services, your payment information, such as your bank account and payment card details, will be collected by one of our external payment service providers. We will not have access to this data.

Transaction details: In addition to your financial details, when you make a payment to us we will collect details of your billing address, IP address, and payment tokens for tax, anti-fraud and accounting purposes.

Technical details: We collect data on which IP addresses and device types are accessing our services.

RuneScape details: Details that identify your RuneScape account such as your in-game username, which may be linked to your personal information by Jagex Limited (referred to as "Jagex", with which you must have a contract in order to have a RuneScape account).

We never collect any Special Categories of personal information (this includes your race or religion, sexual orientation, political opinions or biometric data), nor any information about criminal offences.

How we will use Personal Information?

We will only use your personal data in accordance with the law. Below is a list of activities for which we process personal data:

- To register your account (for performance of a contract with you)

- To process and fulfil your purchases (for performance of a contract with you)

- To update you on your account (for performance of a contract with you, or to comply with a legal obligation, or for our legitimate interests - such as to keep our records up-to-date)

- To update you on our services (for performance of a contract with you, or with your explicit consent)

- To protect our business, products and website (for performance of a contract with you, or to comply with a legal obligation, or for our legitimate interests - such as network security)

- To improve our website, products, marketing and user experience (for our legitimate interests - to develop our business, products and marketing strategy)

We may disclose your RuneScape account name to Jagex in order to protect our legitimate interests (ensuring fair use of RuneScape's own policies).

We do not store credit card information entered for payments made at the Site. This information is stored by the payment partner you select when making a purchase.

We will not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties without your prior consent.

Demographic information (i.e. information relating to age, gender, location etc. but not specifically identifying you) may be aggregated and disclosed to third parties. This information will never identify you or your computer personally.

We may make available services such as message boards, chat functionality and blogs, among other services to which you are able to post information and materials. Please note that any information you disclose through such services or otherwise on the Site becomes public information, and may be available to registered users of the Site and to the general public. In addition, when you choose to make a posting on such services, certain personal data will be available for other users to view. We urge you to exercise discretion and caution when deciding to disclose personal data about yourself, or any other information.

How long will you store my Personal Information for?

We will only store your personal information for as long as is required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected (along with any related legal or accounting requirements).

If you have made a purchase from us, we must keep your contact and transaction details for six years plus any remainder of the current year in which you made your latest payment (for tax purposes).


A cookie is a small information file that is saved to your computer's hard disk to store information about yourself so that when you visit the website subsequently you do not have to enter that information again. The Site makes use of cookies for this purpose unless you have selected to disable cookies. In addition, we may store on our servers your IP address so that we can identify returning visitors to our site. We do not link your IP address to any personal information.

Management of your Personal Information

If you are registered user, you will be entitled to update and/or remove your personal information from our Site by contacting us at We may need specific information from you to confirm your identity before disclosing any personal data.


We will use all reasonable measures to ensure the security of your personal information held by us. Any significant departures from this privacy policy will be notified to you via the email address you have provided to us when registering to use the Site and/or via updates on the Site.

Children under 13

We will not hold personal information where the subject has disclosed that it is under the age of 13. In these cases we will close the subject's account.
